Château Gros Puy | Brocante-Led Château Restoration

Set within a historic French château, this project focused on creating atmosphere through collected objects, antique finds and decorative storytelling. Working with existing architectural features including original timber floors, exposed beams and grand fireplaces, the interiors were gradually layered with brocante discoveries sourced from local markets, antique fairs and reclamation yards across the region.

Throughout the château, vintage mirrors, crystal chandeliers, painted furniture and decorative wallpapers were used to celebrate the romance and imperfection of French country living. The aim was not to create a polished luxury hotel, but a home rich with character, where every room felt as though it had evolved naturally over generations.

The result is a space that balances faded grandeur with comfort. A lived-in château that embraces history, craftsmanship and the joy of collecting beautiful things.
